- Only mail to subscribers who remember you and actively expect to hear from you.
- Mail them material they are expecting to receive and not surprises they don’t expect.
- Mail your list frequently. A dead list will kill your deliverability and your reputation. If you’re not mailing a MINIMUM of once per week, every week… they will forget who you are and mark you as spam. This gets you a negative email reputation with email providers like Gmail.
- If your list engagement goes down (opens & clicks), use a reengagement strategy to warm them up.
- If you detect your emails are going into spam despite not using spam trigger words, use a reengagement strategy to warm your subscribers up.
If you treat your mailing list professionally and as a top priority, the Profit Platform CRM is perhaps the best platform in existence for inboxing and generating profit. However, if you don’t follow these best practices… you’ll end up getting a negative email reputation and have a difficult time staying out of the spam folder.
Once you build a negative reputation… it takes dedicated hard work to reverse it. It’s much like a personal credit score in that respect.
